Sunday 13th March 2011

The weather is so awful that my girlfriend is reduced to taking photos of her fingers

Monday 14th March 2011

HMCS Charlottetown FFH 339 leaves us in the morning

Tuesday 15th March 2011

We go to Timeout - something we had vowed never to do again because of all the smoking starers nursing half a pint throughout the day.

So that's what they were doing outside - building a new toilet. Why, I have no idea.

Wednesday 16th March 2011

In La Linea they have painted all the concrete barriers at the sea front an unusual shade of torquoise - very brave. Looks good, though.

Thursday 17th March 2011

The sun came out and we head off to Cheers in Engineers Lane.

Friday 18th March 2011

The sun has come out yet again - maybe this is the start of summer.

On the way back we bump into some nice people who have just been pulled across Gibraltar by giant dogs (don't ask). We pop in long enough to drink some sparkling wine and then leave when we run out of jokes.

Saturday 19th March 2011

We set off for a walk around Gibraltar - is this an orchid?

This is the best view of Europort that I have seen. we thought of living there but the windows were badly located and the reception area a bit poky. And don't mention the flooding ...
