Cold and windy. Everybody is expecting Gordon Brown to step down as Prime Minister but I think he will declare a state of emergency and become a dictator - so what's new?
According to my ticket, the plane to Luton leaves at 12.00pm but when I check in, they tell me it leaves at 12.40pm
and give me a boarding card with that printed on it. I query it but they assure me it is correct. The departure screens
also show the flight leaving at 12.40pm (I have photos). So, as you would expect, at 11.50am they tannoy me and
then lay on a special bus out to the plane which is about to depart at 12.00 mid-day. Good effort guys but where was the
red carpet?
Actually, if they can't even decide what time it takes off how do they manage to fly them? "Let's turn left, I mean right
or do I mean straight on?" Surprisingly, we land at the correct airport, Luton, all in one piece.
